City observations

Had thought about taking some pictures during a regular working day...

People going to work at some very remote places.....

Some tired before they even start working.....

Some being modern nomades.....

And some apparently enjoying themselves.....

However, for some "going up" might be nothing more than just an optical illusion.....

But then, there is always a chance to end up in a nice Sushi restaurant after work.....

Insignificant thoughts on stripes

We see stripes everywhere.

We do see them on Pyjamas, on our bedsheets, maybe our underwear.

Zebras and prisoners in some of these old black & white movies do show stripes as well.

Traffic crossings confront us with stripes.

But these stripes here are just results of me using "Line U4", a subway in my hometown...stripes which only came into existence for me traveling without moving, in a way. Nothing material, just taking pictures of nothing, I guess.....

About growing up

I guess growing up never feels easy. An important part of growing up seems to be the question of how to cope with the unavoidable confusion that comes with all the new experiences. And there will be one day when we need to learn more about the physical and emotional changes that occur when our minds and our bodies start to mature into adolescence.

Being shot out of a cannon....

"Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why god made fast motorcycles, Bubba"

A sunny sunday morning, too beautiful to ignore.....a short but intense ride on my motorbike around town....

Is reality simply a construction of our perceptions?

Is reality "real," or simply a construction of our perceptions? Science, of course, has driven our capabilities to come up with explanations for more phenomena than you thought existed.....but would all of these discoveries still correspond to a faithful picture of reality, given the emergence of virtual realities? Is the dog by any chance pulling the staircase? What is experience telling us therefore?

Just kiddin', I just like the picture....again, done with my GRD-III, cute little thing.

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."

Of course, the quote is not from me, but from Ralph Waldo Emerson. Anyway, I saw these two young men and thought that they actually look a lot like old friends, despite them being little boys.

Something about the dreams of our childhood

Had an interesting conversation today with someone I happen to like a lot, and it was about the things we used to dream about when we were young....and how things have changed to a more materialistic, and sometimes more commodity surrounded environment....

However, I couldn't resist to shoot a picture this evening when I left work...so this is just for her today....

City Night Out...

"Concrete" jungle at night

A picture I took on Thursday night, leaving the office. Love my little GRD-III.
